Friedrich Wilderness Park

Friedrich Wilderness Park sits on the edge of the Texas Hill Country about 20 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio. From downtown, take Interstate Highway 10 west about 1/2 mile past Loop 1604. Take exit 554 for Camp Bullis Road, the second exit once you pass 1604. Two miles down the access road, take a left under the Interstate and an immediate right on the opposite (two-way) access road. Proceed another 2 miles to Oak Drive and turn left. At the end of Oak, turn right onto Milsa. Friedrich Park will be on your left.

The San Antonio Natural Area Parks headquarters is located at Friedrich Park. You can contact staff at (210) 564-6400, Monday through Friday except holidays, from 7:30 am until 4 pm. Park hours are from 7:30 am to Sunset, every day (except Christmas & New Year's Day)
