How To Find Us! Friedrich Wilderness Park sits on the edge of the Texas Hill Country about 20 miles northwest of downtown San Antonio. From downtown, take Interstate Highway 10 west about 1/2 mile past Loop 1604. Take the Dominion Drive exit # 552. Drive approximately 1.5 miles and take the turn-around under the Interstate, then take the second right turn onto Milsa. At the end, Milsa makes a left turn. Friedrich Park will be on your right about 100 yards down. Coming from Boerne on Interstate 10 east, take Ralph Fair Road/Boerne Stage Road exit 550. Continue on the Access Road 2.7 miles to Milsa Street. Turn Right. At the end, Milsa makes a left turn. Friedrich Park will be on your right about 100 yards down. The San Antonio Natural Area Parks headquarters is located at Friedrich Park. You can contact staff at (210) 564-6400, Monday through Friday except holidays, from 7:30 am until 4 pm.
